Kassidy Nicolosi

Currently a Fine Arts student at Kean University receiving her BA in May 2026, Kassidy has spent her whole life experimenting with different materials to produce artwork that reflects the way she sees the world. Born and raised in northern New Jersey, she has found her passion in traditional media—working most avidly with oil and acrylic paints, while simultaneously continuing to explore other media including charcoal, graphite, colored pencils, markers, and various printmaking techniques. Most of her recent work is done within her home or comes from coursework at school.  She is especially interested in portraying universally existential themes in humorous ways through these various mediums. She has branched out to include some digital projects and photography within her body of work, including various tattoo designs—a favorite of hers to create for those around her. Having had experience in the past working on theatrical productions to facilitate the creation of sets and props, Kassidy was given the opportunity to serve as the Art Director for The Charles Seller Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Bloomfield, New Jersey in 2023. Since then, she has been on the team of creative minds behind the organization’s summer musical productions. Being the behind-the-scenes brainpower behind the entertainment we experience daily has always fascinated her. Until the day she can do that professionally, Kassidy’s goal is to bring her artistic vision and affinity for nuance with her wherever she goes to create a more imaginative world and to inspire deeper thought within her community.
